Novel Study Information

November 1, 2009

All grades completed one novel during the first quarter. I will be posting the names of the novels for the remaining quarters on my blog as we begin each book.

Currently we are reading the following novels:

6R is reading Rules
6B is reading Flush

7A is reading Schooled
7M is reading My Brother Sam Is Dead

8D is reading The Outsiders
8K is reading Notes From the Midnight Driver

Students will also be assigned a book report this quarter. They will be able to choose a book and be given a list of ways to report on their book. Look for this assignment the week of November 16th.

Summer's end

In these final days of vacation, it's time to redirect our focus toward the upcoming, exciting St. Pius X school year. I'm looking forward to seeing you this Thursday, August 13.
